After 4 wonderful years leading Physics Partners charity as CEO, we are delighted to wish Bryan Berry well in his upcoming retirement in June this year. Bryan has been a brilliant CEO and the charity has grown greatly under his leadership. He professionalised this small charity, which has previously been mainly run by volunteers, bringing in new systems and processes, and new sources of much needed funding. He also not only enabled the charity to survive lockdown, but managed to make it thrive by bringing our training online. The Board of Trustees are very grateful for his commitment and dedication and wish him, and his wife Angela, the very best.
We are also pleased to announce the Sally Smith has been promoted to the role of Director of Programmes and Operations. Sally has been with Physics Partners since September 2021 and worked closely with Bryan over this time. Her experience in senior management at a large UK charity, and her time at Physics Partners, means she is well placed to oversee the day-to-day running of Physics Partners during the coming months.
