Bitesize Physics Careers

These short films and presentations are designed to help your science department integrate physics careers into lessons. Organised into four key topics, each area features two or three concise videos led by expert trainers, along with guided discussion points and activities. Each session lasts around 15-20 minutes, making it easy to include in departmental meetings. The films can be viewed in any order, and each includes a ‘Content and Resources’ button with chapter headings, an overview, and PowerPoint materials.

Topics covered include:

  • Improving Uptake in Physics
  • Where Can Physics Take You?
  • Gender Representation
  • Physics Careers in the Curriculum

These sessions provide a practical approach to enhancing your department’s teaching of physics and broadening students’ awareness of career opportunities in the field. They have been produced as part of the Planet Possibility programme.
