New GCSE Physics Teaching Resources

The Teaching Physics – Planet Possibility Short Films are now live!

Physics Partners is proud to announce the release of a new series of innovative GCSE physics teaching resources, funded through the Institute of Physics Planet Possibility Programme. Created by Physics Partners trainers David Farley and Eleanor Wylie, these eight concise and practical videos are designed to empower teachers and enhance student understanding of key physics concepts.

Filmed at the studio of Lewis Matheson, from Physics Online, each video covers a crucial topic in the GCSE curriculum, from density and momentum to electromagnetism and refraction. The resources provide clear, step-by-step explanations and hands-on demonstrations, offering teachers effective strategies to engage their students and bring complex concepts to life in the classroom.

Whether preparing to teach topics such as density, momentum, or the motor effect, teachers will find these videos an invaluable tool for both theoretical instruction and practical assessments. The videos are tailored to the needs of busy educators, blending theoretical explanations with practical guidance aligned with the GCSE syllabus.
