Planet Possibility Physics Workshops

This 2 year programme of online workshops run by Physics Partners in partnership with Future First, finished in July 2024.

We are however, delighted to launch eight GCSE short videos covering key topics in the GCSE curriculum. Whether you’re preparing to teach density, momentum, or the intricacies of electromagnetism, these videos provide clear, concise, and practical guidance to help you bring complex concepts to life in your classroom. You can find these short videos here.

Each video is designed with the busy teacher in mind, offering a blend of theoretical explanations and hands-on demonstrations that align with the GCSE curriculum. From debunking common misconceptions to providing step-by-step instructions for experiments, these videos will equip you with effective strategies to engage your students and enhance their understanding.

Start watching now and empower your students with a deeper understanding of physics! You can find these short videos here.

For the 2024-25 academic year, we are also running ‘Teaching Physics: From Basics to Brilliance’, a new series of 10 interactive online physics sessions in partnership with ASE. You can find these sessions here.

Planet Possibility is funded by the Institute of Physics’ (IOP) Challenge Fund to help deliver against the IOP’s strategic aim of improving the diversity of people doing physics in education, research and industry.  You can find out more about Planet Possibility here >>
