A Physics Partners Network meeting was hosted by Worth School on Tuesday.
Nine science teachers from schools in the Crawley hub of Physics Partners attended the two-hour session, which focused on how the topic of energy is covered in the new GCSE syllabuses.
The Crawley hub is collaboration between the Institute of Physics and schools from the local area including Worth, St Wilfrid’s Catholic College, Ifield Community College, Thomas Bennett and Oriel High School.
Worth was brought on board to provide additional technical expertise and practical ideas for delivering concepts in the classroom. Tuesday’s meeting was organised by Head of Physics, Mr Christopher Smith. The Head Master, Mr Stuart McPherson, gave a short welcome speech to visiting teachers.
