Our Reach and Impact in 2023/2024:
- 470 schools supported
- 120,000 pupils aged 11-18 impacted
- 3,000+ training hours delivered
- 98% of participants rated our training as good or excellent
Key Achievements in 2023/24:
- Expanded Support:
- 40% increase in physics support hours, delivering over 3,200 hours
- Established 3 new hubs in Birmingham, engaging 50+ teachers from 30 schools
- New Innovative Programmes:
- Launched “What Lights Up Your Love of Physics?” competition with 96 state schools participating
- Organised a Girls in STEM Week, reaching 350+ students from 12 schools
- Launched Online Resources:
- Added 10 Teaching GCSE Physics video tutorials to our website
- Developed bite-sized career resources
- Built New Partnerships:
- Partnered with 6 universities for teacher trainee sessions
- Expanded work with Multi-Academy Trusts across the UK
- Delivered the Planet Possibility CPD Programme:
- Delivered 150 online workshops
- Engaged with teachers from 270 schools
